January 5, 2010
If you want to tell the TDSB that no schools should be closed in the Jane-Finch area, then please come to the ARC meeting on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. It will be held at Brookview Middle School (4505 Jane Street – just north of Driftwood community Centre). The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m., but if you come a few minutes early, you can talk with fellow parents and residents.
It’s important that the community comes out to make their voices heard! The Board needs to see that parents and residents will come out and stand up for their all of their local schools. Please pass the word along to your friends, family, and interested parties.
NEW! David Clandfield has written a Background Document that examines the five schools in question and challenges the TDSB’s facts, figures, and arguments. Declining enrolment is not the real issue.

Thank you and we hope you can make it to the meeting.
